At Digital Lifeline, we are committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and secure online experience. You can navigate most of our site without providing us any personal information. But, there are instances when we will need personal information to provide services that you request. Collecting your Personal Information

At times, you will be asked to provide information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is required when submitting a contest entry, ordering e-mail newsletters, joining a limited-access premium site or when purchasing and registering Digital Lifeline products. Personal information collected by Digital Lifeline.com often is limited to e-mail address, language, country or location but, other information may be required to provide services you request.

For example: If you choose to make a purchase in the Shop area of the Web site, we will request personal information such as: name, address, telephone number, credit card number and shipping information.

When you buy and install a new product, we may ask you to register your purchase electronically. When you do, the registration information is kept on file with any other information you've provided on previous visits to our Web site. This is considered your Personal Profile.

Use of your Personal Information

Information stored in your Personal Profile is used for four primary purposes:

1. To make the site easier for you to use by not requesting that you enter your personal information more than once,
2. To help you quickly find software, services or information on Digital Lifeline.com,
3. To help us create and deliver content most relevant to you,
4. To alert you to product upgrades, special offers, updated information and other new services from Digital Lifeline.

If you do not wish to receive these offers, you should uncheck the box in the Contact Options section in the Profile Center that reads, "Digital Lifeline partners can send me postal mail about their services or products."

Digital Lifeline.com may send out periodic e-mails informing you of technical service issues related to a product or service you requested. You will not be able to choose to unsubscribe to these mailings, as they are considered an essential part of the service you have chosen.

Security of your Personal Information

Digital Lifeline.com strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where Digital Lifeline, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents are located.

You also have a significant role in protecting your information. No one can see or edit your personal information without knowing your Passport and password, so do not share these access tools with others.
